“Words are, in my opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic.”
~ J.K. Rowling
Sometimes it’s not about what we say, but how we say it.
Our words can make or break people.
Each word has a weight, a meaning, associations, even their sound is significant. Whether written or spoken, we use words to convey our thoughts and ideas to others, our memories, our emotions. A few well-chosen words can motivate a crowd, manifest into a smile, inspire action, comfort, pride, or contentment. Or, they can hurt. They can burn, or scar, or haunt. Each time we use a word, it impacts those who read or hear it. They can be a powerful force of good or ill.
This video shows a woman altering just a few words on a sign, and consequently turning a blind man’s plea for help, into a call for action. Change your words, change your world.
