You’re hundreds of thousands of miles away—
Yet when I look out my window, there you are.

Every night, you appear without fail.
I trust you. I can depend on you
Because no matter the conditions,
I know you’ll always be there.
Not everyone notices when you come,
But that doesn’t stop you from coming.
That doesn’t stop you from looking over all of us.
Not everyone appreciates you—
But I do.
Every night, I admire your radiance and beauty.
I talk.
You graciously listen.
