Or, a love affair may suddenly come into your life, causing an end to a relationship that had existed for some time. That’s precisely what happened to a friend of mine.

It seemed like it had been months, maybe even years since she had found anyone interesting enough to date and have a relationship with. On some level, she had emotionally “thrown in the towel” and quit looking for that passionate relationship she so wanted to find.

One evening, as she got dressed to go to a small dinner party at another friend’s house, she put on her makeup and found herself thinking, “I have had it. I am so tired of not having anyone to date and socialize with.”

That was the evening she decided to settle. She rationalized that she just needed to be with someone. Anyone! That was when she met “Mr. Okay for Now” and began dating him.

Her relationship with him was safe but rather uninspiring at first. Yes, they did interesting and fun things together, but there was no spark or exciting sexual chemistry. She considered him a “placeholder.” He may be “Mr. Okay for Now,” but definitely not “Mr. Right Forever.”

But when, unbeknownst to her, Uranus moved into the 5^th house of her horoscope, her life took an amazing turn. She went to work as always. As she got on the elevator to her office, a handsome, well-dressed young man stepped in the elevator.

He had to be at least 12 to 15 years younger than her. She stared at him as a risqué thought crossed her mind, “I wonder what he would be like in bed?” Their eyes met and he introduced himself. He said he was new to the office building and, indeed, the country. He boldly suggested they have a drink to get acquainted. She surprised herself by accepting.

They experienced an amazing chemistry as they talked over a few too many cocktails, which led to a wild evening back at his apartment. From there, they saw each other every day, enjoying fun activities and a hot romance she’d never had before. In order to make time for her new love, she told “Mr. Okay for Now” that it was over between them.

She felt liberated from the prim and proper version of herself she’d been in the past, free to enjoy the most exciting affair of her life as Uranus transited her 5th House.

It is the drama that is so exciting.

Uranus energies bring great instability to any relationship you may have during its transit of the 5^th house of your horoscope. But romances are so exciting at this time because they take you away from the more routine, predictable relationships you’ve had in the past. In fact, if such a relationship eventually becomes too stable and routine, you may no longer remain interested. After all, it’s the very drama and intrigue of the relationship that keeps you fascinated and excited to keep it going. Such is the nature of Uranus’ influence on romance.

Uranus energies demand freedom. So, even if you do find yourself enjoying the excitement and passion of new romance, you’ll resent any attempt by the other person to tie you down or become possessive of you. Actually, you may find yourself purposely, “playing the field”—avoiding long-term commitments which may restrict you socially.
