This new Song by an Up-&-Coming Band is the Best thing I’ve Heard in 2019.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can get into the habit of listening to the same collection of my favorite artists on Spotify over and over again.

It’s wholly refreshing when I find a new sound and a new voice that I instantly connect with. And that’s exactly what I felt when I heard up-and-coming band SAFE BOND‘s new song, “Breath.”

SAFE BOND is a brand-new Israeli band, with vocalist Hadas Hechter and guitarist/vocalist Roi Peled at its heart.

The first time I heard this song, the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. That also happened the second and third and fourteenth time I listened to it.

Hadas’s singing is rich, uplifting, and wonderfully fragile, while Roi’s gentle voice accompanies her beautifully. They are joined by Bar Karti on guitar and backing vocals and Itamar Tsur on double bass.

The video below is equally lovely, filmed with the four of them on a rooftop in Tel Aviv. Take a break from whatever you’re doing and allow yourself the next few minutes to watch and listen.

I hope you’re as struck by it as I was.
