The Making of Home.

Find your heart.

Place it on the mantel.

Be sure anything else in that space radiates heart beams.

Your favorite mug, the one that was your mother’s—faded pastels of mustard yellow and blue dots. Store it carefully between your hands. Fill with warm wholeness and press it to your chest.

Adorn your sitting place with mismatched pillows in a nice spot by the window—peering outside keeps you grounded.

Connection with green earth.

Straighten the photographs on the wall.

Sprinkle joy in quotes and pleasantries.

Treat the space as sacred.

Care for your things.

Offer love for your home and your people.

Keep an open door for those closest to you.

Warm mugs.

Open doors.

Joy-filled hearts.

Belly-ache laughter.

The making of home.
