“Whether it’s science or magic, if it’s of fun benefit, enjoy!” ~ ed
The 8th August is marked as a spiritually significant day known as the Lion’s Gate.
It’s an energy portal that helps us to clear out any energy blockages, fears, and limiting beliefs which in turn will activate the essence of our soul power.
As spiritual beings, we were born with the gift to create or manifest. To turn any of our intentions, desires, and visions into reality. Every one of us has the same power and ability to create the life experience of our heart’s desire. However, the question is why many of us are living in suffering if we all have the same power within us?
The answer is because we were brought up in a society that taught us to have a victim mentality. We blame and look for the answer to our suffering from outside us. We are told we have to have more, do more, or be someone else to find our true happiness. This mindset limits us from growing and embodying a greater version of ourselves.
As a spiritual being who is having a human experience, our main purpose in this world is to contribute and make a difference in the lives of others. This is achieved in how we show up in the roles that we play in our daily lives—at work, home, or personal.
Yet, we are living in constant fear and limited by our belief that we are not enough as we are. We are constantly seeking others’ approval and validation of our self-worthiness. As a result, we are playing small and stop shining our own light to the world.
We forget about the perfection of a newborn baby; there are no flaws that we can point out in them. We don’t look at a newborn and think about what he or she should do more of or be more of, other than him or herself. We accept and love them just as they are.
That level of self-acceptance and self-love is what we need to achieve if we want to supercharge our manifesting powers.
We can do this in the following ways:
1. Raising self-awareness.
Awareness is the key to life mastery and personal development. Through self-awareness, we can see our pattern of behaviors, fears, and limiting beliefs. The easiest way to do this by meditation and journaling.
The mediation will help you to silence your inner chatter so that you can reach inner peace and release any negative thoughts and feelings. Then, follow it by journaling to reflect on what lessons you need to master, what blessings you are grateful for, and, most importantly, what does your soul need from you.
Journaling is like whispering to oneself, listening at the same time. As you journal, you allow your soul to communicate and align with your ego.
2. Forgive and let go of the past.
The biggest blocker of any manifesting process is resentment, guilt, fear, or worry. All of these are stemmed from your past life experiences. Many of us are either living in the past or future.
When you realize that the power to manifest is in the present moment, you will look at life from a different perspective. Our minds are made up of patterns, and we use this to project the possible outcome of our future. So, when we worry about our future, our brain is tricking us into believing what happened in the past is going to be repeated in the future and, as we believe this, we will create this reality.
Instead, forgive and let go of what happened in the past to change the outcome of your future. Trust that our past—including our mistakes—is meant to be part of the Divine Plan. Only through making mistakes we find the clarity of what we truly want.
3. Visualize your future.
As the creator of our own lives, we have the power to create our reality no matter what our current circumstances. Be mindful of where to focus our energy on, as it will grow and expand, no matter if it’s negative or positive.
Moreover, what we resist will persist. So, whenever fear or worry shows up, acknowledge it then move your focus onto something else. If possible, reframe it into something positive. We are guilty of spending too much time and energy to focus on what we don’t want instead of what we do want.
4. Embody the new version of yourself.
This last part is often neglected, yet it’s one of the most crucial parts of manifesting. As part of visualizing our intention, we need to embody and get in alignment with the vibration of our future self.
For example, if we want to manifest a million dollars into our bank account, then start living and acting like a millionaire. This is what the embodiment process is about. This is where most of us failed to master as we self-sabotage by not believing in our future-self vision. Instead, we choose to focus on our current perception of reality.
The best way to do this is by looking for the evidence and taking action from that upgraded self-identity. The same way that our mind tricks us into believing our current reality is the truth, we also have the power to trick our mind into believing that we have adopted that new identity.
It’s all a game—when we can master our mind, it no longer controls us.
The energy of Lion’s Gate will be at peak on August 8th to the 12th; however, we should not limit our focus on spiritual development during those periods only.
I believe that life mastery is a lifetime journey. Don’t get discouraged just because of one mistake, or if we don’t get it right at first time. Part of our soul purpose in this three-dimensional world is to master each lesson and create a bigger and better version of ourselves.
