Many people know Morgan Hanbery as the talented and infectiously hilarious YouTuber.

A breakout star, her “Bullsh*t Makeup Tutorial” series garnered immediate acclaim for her humor, her technique, and her contagious confidence.

Today, some of her videos exceed two million views, and celebrity guests like JWOWW often make cameo appearances. But there is more to Morgan behind the makeup. With a mother who regrettably suffered from a long-term drug issue, Morgan gives us insight into her personal life and shares with us a story only the daughter of such a destructive habit could tell.

Morgan talks about how having to take care of her brothers ended up being the biggest blessing because it taught her to grow up fast, and how they are part of the reason she is still here on this Earth. She credits the power of gratitude as another reason for staying alive.

Watch the episode below to learn more of the star’s upbringing, her faith, and the qualifying incidents that have molded her into the humor-filled inspiration she is today.

“When I met Morgan, I knew that her friendship to me would be more than just a simple passing of words. Getting to know Morgan, and the person that she is behind what everyone sees has been such an eye-opening experience. When people step into the public eye, we sometimes forget that they are just that, people.

Each and every person has a story; each and every person has a life that you do not know, and a past you do not understand. Being able to tell a little bit of Morgan’s story, I hope, will remind you all of that. She is strong for a reason, and she is who she is for a reason. I am proud to call her a friend, and I am proud of the person she is becoming.” ~ Becky Hayter
