What is this mystery of life?
What is this thing
that emboldens
one man
to proclaim his own holiness
above another
In a time and place where
No One actually Knows
The Truth
What is it
that allows
one person
to enjoy all the comforts
of life and wealth
while another
dies of hunger
shivering on the street
How can
one human
turn a blind eye
to the suffering of
so many,
deaf to the cries
of a tormented Earth
Yet proclaim
with such certainty
‘Jesus Saves All!’
I do not understand
this mystery of life
