It’s important to acknowledge, as the Delta variant and the unvaccinated push us into another year of death and masking up for others, the anger and hurt of this moment.

We were clear that variants would, and continue to arise, so long as vast swaths of the world are unvaccinated. Many don’t have access. For those who do, fueled by Social-Dilemma-ish Misinformation, to refuse to save their own lives, and the lives of others (pre-Delta), seems selfish.

I am angry. I am sad.

It looks like millions more will die, and restaurants be forced to close again, or operate at half-steam, and those most vulnerable may lose their jobs, again, and travel restrictions will rise up, again.

I posted this on Instagram, and everyone (surprise, surprise) got mad.
