“Tender Heart” Your Not So Ordinary Love Poem

Photo by Serkan Göktay on Pexels.

This tender heart has loved

A man who stared at stars and one who studied them.

I have loved the one who moved with the tide and the one who measured them.

This tender heart has come undone.

Faltered in all my dealings.

This tender heart has broken and mended back again to one beating heart.

Oh, silence silver never golden.

Richness the black of night.

This tender heart

Delicate and strewn with the remnants of days

These play out like tiny vignettes recorded in old record halls reminding me of life

Oh, sweet love,

The best goes on and a tender heart prevails
