5 Ways to Access Gratitude

What if we believed we had everything we needed?

What if we believed we were inherently worthy and everything we were working towards was already on its way. For many of us, this is a challenging belief to hold. We often get caught up in the thought process of lack by focusing on not being where we want to be, and not having what we desire, therefore living in the energy of scarcity and creating more of what we don’t want.

Well, it doesn’t need to be this way!

Below is a key ingredient we all have access to which can change the game for us when it comes to creating our dreams and reaching the goals we set for ourselves.

That ingredient is gratitude.

Gratitude is a thought or feeling which easily becomes an energy that can serve to act as a magnet, and attracts more of what we’re feeling love and appreciation for to come into our lives. By connecting to gratitude we are changing our inner energetic state which in turn can lead to creating a shift in our external world.

If we already believed we had everything we wanted and needed, and believed everything was ‘done’, well, there would be no sense of lack, there would be no trying or searching or needing, so of course we would be grateful because we’d already have everything we wanted.

The thing with gratitude is that once we step into it and allow it to wash all over us we by virtue are saying yes and allowing more abundance to enter our lives.

Gratitude allows us to receive.

With ease.

Be fulfilled.

And in flow.

The more we embody and consciously choose to feel gratitude and thankfulness, for the littlest things right through to the greatest, and for things already physically present as well as those  not yet ‘here’, the more our subconscious mind is turned towards noticing more to be grateful for.

The more we notice to be grateful for, the more we notice, on repeat! This creates a self-perpetuating cycle of abundance and flow. We can literally create more by observing more!

Here are 4 practical exercises to access gratitude and step into the energy of ‘done’.

1) If we already believed that IT was done, with IT being the business, money, body, the life we strive for, what would our beliefs be? (about life, about biz, about money, about you, about anything!). Write them down. Fill a page.

2) If we already believed and even knew that IT was done, with IT being the business, money, body, the life we strive for, what would our daily actions be? (about life, about biz, about money, about you, about anything!). Write them down. Fill a page.

3) If we already believed and even knew that IT was done, with IT being the business, money, body, the life we strive for, what would your ongoing habits be? (about life, about biz, about money, about you, about anything!). Write them down. Fill a page.

4) Another simple way to grow the energy of gratitude is to do a daily ‘5 + 5’.

This is a journaling exercise where you list out 5 things you’re grateful for that are already true and real, as in ‘done’ in a physical, and 5 things you’re grateful for which you are calling in, however write them in the wording as though already done.

In order to receive more with ease, in all areas, we need to be grateful for what we already have, notice, and see. Of course there are other practices we can undertake in order to receive with ease, but gratitude is truly one of the most powerful tools at our disposal.

Take a moment today to remember that we truly do have everything inside of us, we have all we need when we simply start to look for it, and the more we practice observation of this truth, the more still we will find to practice – and live – our gratitude.
