chey

my sister is a gift from someone powerful

trauma forced fear and an undefined uncertainty while our youth experiences

struck me in the same way

but there’s nothing more beautiful then the beauty of her majestic value in her voice

we all envied,

all wanted,

all wished to do what she loves with no fear

she is a reflection of an angel I once loved

but with a kinder, more gentle approach

and all i want for her is to keep watering her flowers, pulling the dead roots off that no longer serve her

I need someone to treat her with the love and light that she had clearly deserved since page one

A power she hides under her anxiety

with the surfaced fragile fingers peeling from her humbled unease

an mastered art grows to an awoke purpose

payed by the baggage never cleared, and recognition they ignored when she was a genius who didn’t brag about it in hopes of a genuine fanbase

my sister is my star

shining through our grey essence clearing our slate of regrets

my sister is a friend that often got stuck in the middle

when does she get to shine with the bright magic she has been hiding under the dark

bless her with all the beauty she’s offered the rest of us

shine bright and wholeheartedly to her own idea of paradise

wish upon the next star you see and your dream became reality
