No Risk

Photo by Gladson Xavier on Pexels.

He doesn’t want to be loved, and he doesn’t even see it

He disappears when he starts to feel any sort of warmth or buzz of safety

As safety to him was a temporary fire we call lust

replaced it with an idea of lux or a complicated love

where there is no gamble

no pain

A safer way to hide

But A missed paradise, we could not trade for any solid comfort.

He is pushing me away, belittling any pure intentions I have left, and expects me to look up to him when his ego is manipulating the genuine leader that once lived.
