And my heart does, in fact, break for them.
I don’t care much about celebrities. But they are still real people. And having your personal life—your ups and downs—on display for the whole world to see must be excruciatingly hard. (Especially when it comes to something as intimate as this.)
And beyond that, I can’t, even for a second, fathom the pain of losing a child or miscarrying or anything remotely close to that.
Needless to say, I feel for this family. I ache for them.
There are never any “right” or “magic” words that can truly ease grief like this. But, his performance, the lyrics, and the authentic emotion? Those things, without a doubt, show that he is a loving, supporting partner. Which is all you can ever hope she would have at this time.
