Once A Lover or Never Mine

Photo by MART PRODUCTION on Pexels.

If Einstein were my lover we may or may not be friends for he would likely take another. This love would end.

Oh, if Galileo were to woo not wed another spiritually sacred bed this heart would break.

If Newton walked my heart across the celestial skies would I live to love another?

If Mr. Bell called me on the line would I listen to his courageous heart? Would I let him into mine?

Would Tesla set my world on fire with light and songs?  Oh, if Tesla were to be my lover would love come?

The fires of light burn oh so bright.

The fires of love this eternal plight.

Genius in a house of glass, men and wine.

Pour not of love the deepest heart divine yet from springs of hope and the wells of time.

The wounded doves fly home.

The wounded dove flies home and finds rest in mine.

From one lover to another our hearts will be just fine.
