Debra Emerson

Debra Emerson loves to share about her acorn-ic inspiration. Years ago, she was writing something she felt was very important, but got writer’s block. She started to write in her journal about it when she realized: Don’t try to write. Be like the acorn. It doesn’t try to be an oak tree. Just relax and let life grow through you. And so the acorn has become a symbol of simply being, of strength, and of peace. The Sea Slug and The Little Ripple are the first of her Acorn Books.
