I went to a funeral…
Everyone was hiding the cause of death…at such a young age. He was a super good student…he played football and was very jovial. Somehow he was almost on his own at home…with sometime preparing his own lunch as well dinner. With a drunk almost all the time father and a mother who worked on shif system, nobody helped. In a time where people chase winds, onone saw the pain of the boy. He had friends and he was not used of this hanging on the street late. But slowly he did and slowly he took a different habits…slowly it became his life. It started by a gift…trying a new experience one tablet…and his life change overnight.
No one saw him lousing weight, no one saw him trembling from time to time. He usually stole from him mum, she knew but did not say much. A mother try to always protect the kid. But not asking him what was the money for…was her last big mistake.
He look so young…it could be a brother of yours…he died of overdose on the street.
Drugs is not the problem…it was never. The problem is why our kids are buying it. What is pushing them to buy it. We don’t put rubber in our bread and eat…no one will drink muddy water. So how come our kid is so deseperate to take drugs. People sell all sort of thing. But we have the option of not buying…the failure is again our housewhole, our school and our community. They can sell whatsoever…but teach your kids not to buy as you teach him to eat properly…sit properly and to work for good grades at school…
