Labels

Labels, through our lifetime we acquire a lot, daughter, sister, aunt, as we grow older with the choices we make, we then become wife, mother, plus all the other labels in our lifetime.

So have you still got your own identity? More to the point did you even notice when it slipped out of view. How many times when someone asks you “tell me about you” do you reply with I a mum of…. I’m married with…… I work at and I’m a….

So how about as you read this and I ask you about you, you reply with, my name is and I am a strong confident woman, I am a gorgeous woman…..

The labels will always be there, we are always gonna be a mum, daughter, sister, but these labels do not define us, they are not who we are. So lady stand tall and tell the world who you really are.
