Love means Love { Poem -Teenager }

As a teenager falling in love is easy but keeping a relationship going is very hard .We all have been there and some falling rather many times .These are all experiences and I know trust me God has a greater plan every time your with someone . No doubt even my relationship had its ups and downs ,we used to fight a lot but in the end we loved each other like crazy .

True love isn’t about looking at your partner and feeling they are perfect rather look at that person and say I love you with all your flaws and imperfections and accept who you are. Our generation has no doubt lost its essence of true love , we all make mistakes rather some who make a lot but that doesn’t stop us from loving each other honestly . God made us in his image and likeness ,God is love ,We are love and we have the capability of loving each other to limits unknown .

You know they say infinity is not defined but I say no ,Love cant be defined cause if it is then it ain’t love at all .As teenagers loving our boyfriends or girlfriends are so hard ,like literally I cant tell you how many times i have felt like telling myself she is prettier or he is more handsome she deserves better than me .Self esteem issues ,depression ,stress related to exams , parents unable to understand us , unsure of our future and countless others I can mention ,its hard to trust someone and love someone cause we haven’t learnt how to love ourselves .Love yourself first then others .

Hormones make us more crazy and temptations come and go but you can be strong ,its just that you have to find a reason to believe in the other person and trust him or her cause trust me when your truly in love with someone miracles do happen and you are complete.I wonder why adults say or rather some parents say don’t fall in love at this age cause you don’t know what love means .The thing is how can we not know what love means when we are itself made out of love .

I certainly believe that even after years if you truly loved someone you can not ever stop loving that person ,you sadly just stopped waiting for them . We have been so bent up on finding for love that we haven’t given love a chance to find us .

Always spread love and be kind to others ,trust me you will find peace .

My girlfriend was my muse for my poem .She truly loved and cared for me and its because of her I’m a better person. I love her with all my heart and I hope and truly will cherish her for the rest of my life .I have always wanted to write a poem for her. This is the poem i wrote for her and I wanted to share it with you all

A vow means a vow
Take me to your heart
Cause your an abstract art
Let me destroy your past
If love exists let it live between us

I want to feel you

Your hair is as smooth as the waters flow

Souls connected
Hearts mixed
Fingers intertwined
I will wait for you even if it takes a billion years
I have loved you for so many years
And never plan on hurting you
I’ll keep you safe in these arms of mine

Darling, I love you
Means I’ll fight for you
Means I’ll care for you
Means I’ll touch you like no one else
Means I’ll be with you even when we grow old
