Between the incredible interview with Letterman last week, the copious posts on Michelle Obama’s birthday and this hat, our family is missing the Obamas. A testament to faith, class, grace and education, Michelle and Barak Obama are still fighting the good fight to help the most marginalized amongst us. I miss a time of less fear, less vilification of immigrants and minorities and I am hoping for a future filled with leaders who are willing to have the conversations necessary to tear down the walls of this white supremacist nation.
The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.
