Point break. A poem I wrote for a man I love who is a lover of the ocean. I had hoped he would see me as the ocean, a raging infinite wonder.

You stand in awe of her beauty
The suns first rays catch her as she sways, rhythmically, to and fro.
She is tempest,raw and unrestrained.
To want her any other way,
why?then you wouldn’t want,her.
She comes towards you, beckoning; then retreats.
You chuckle,ah this temptress yours, you cannot deny.
Into her cold embrace you delve.
The power struggle ensues,
You expected it, in fact you relish the thrill, her passionate spirit, unyielding.
Finally she allows you to lull her,
as one you move, soaring on a wave of pleasure, you have been living but now, alive.
She is torrential peace .
The moment seems to last a lifetime, time must have stood still.
Oh but too soon you are falling, fast;into her bottomless depths you are drawn.
Therein her secrets are kept, you catch a glimpse and are spellbound;div
just as you were in the shallows.
You breathe her in.
Ha, you would drown in her,
To spend eternity in her ebb and in her flow.
She is freedom.
