I’m serving as a Teaching Assistant in the summer program and was recently asked to share my personal and professional goals for the next three months.
Summer goals? Nonsense.
But, because I’m a Hai! to this community and am two feet in to my role, I gave it some thought.
And after very little agonizing, I knew I would benefit from a recommitment to myself and how I start my day.
Thank you, Elephant Journal, for asking more of me. Thank you for asking me to make a commitment to you and to me, for inviting me to slow down and be awake to my life.
First: coffee, morning pages, read, meditate.
Next: the world.
