I am a creative being carrying my sacred gift to share with you.
You will hold my gift with tenderness, care and love, and work with me to nurture it.

Every being is a creative at heart. In the process of egoless creation, we enter the meditative flow state of our highest potential where we are aligned with all the truth, wisdom and divinity of nature. Here nothing matters except the creative work at hand, and the discipline, commitment and determination all flow naturally to complete it. We are aligned with the universe, ourselves and the work in absolute perfection. This activity, which could be anything, a sketch, a run, carpentry work, clay play, coloring, cooking favorite meal, watering plants, origami, quilting, anything done with passion of soul, not greed of ego, is our sacred gift.
I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded with creative beings carrying such sacred gifts all throughout my life ; the musicians , artists , writers, chefs, bakers , interior designers , architects, film makers, dancers , actors, potters, yogis . I have continued to gain from them different and new perspectives and immense motivation to create things myself. There is a deep sense of joy and bliss when experiencing any creative energy come to manifestation by efforts of self and others.
However it has surprised me over the years that most of the times conversations in gatherings and get togethers are not around this grand creative work in play by each individual but rather mostly focused on worldly affairs and materialistic achievements. We are quick to ask how are everyone’s jobs, houses, last vacation, recent dates, and views on political situations but put creative endeavors and soul achievements in back burner.
There could be multiple reasons for why this trend has come about but couple that come to mind:
Not recognizing and owning the sacred gifts we carry. I have myself not been very proactive in sharing what are the soul work activities I have been into lately or where my spiritual and creative focus has been. It has mostly been this way because I have not felt the need to share this, perhaps mainly because of my doubts if it would be of any interest to the group.
De-prioritization of emotional and spiritual matters in social set up, when compared to matters of physical realm. It is no secret, as social fabric has evolved, soul and mental health related discussions have not gained as much momentum as checking on someone’s physical health and financial wellbeing. Stability and wellbeing of one’s life has mostly been evaluated based on how they are doing in these later sectors.
This trend has led to mostly superficial conversations and incomplete/no authentic connections.
What if we didn’t hesitate and what if we made our next meet up about only sharing conversations about the creative, playful, spiritual activities we have been engaged in. What if we ask more questions like what did you plant in your garden this season , what are you enjoying to write about or paint these days , how did that last sound bath or yoga session make you feel like , what are the games you and your kids have enjoyed the most playing recently , any new recipe you have to share with me, in your last travel what were your most blissful moments , are you liking your apartment space or do you have some interior changes in mind , share with me if you can the last music you made , what was the creation process like …
There are many sacred circles such as these already. We just need more of them so a comfortable and safe space can me made where everyone is excited to share and we can truly connect spiritually and emotionally . Lack of these exact kind of social circles have contributed to feelings of isolation and increased anxieties and depression over the years for our generation, because that missing part makes you feel you do not have a support system, which very well might be in place, but social communication and interaction certainly doesn’t make you feel so. By shedding my own inhibitions to share my scared gifts and by encouraging others around to share their sacred gifts, I can contribute to creating tribes that encourage and attain higher meaningful goals of humanity.
So dear friends an affirmation theme here for the next meet up with friends and family or others:
~
I am a creative being carrying my sacred gift to share with you.
You will hold my gift with tenderness, care and love, and work with me to nurture it.
You are a creative being carrying your sacred gift to share with me.
I will hold your gift with tenderness, care and love, and work with you to nurture it.
We are creative beings under this full moon light sharing our sacred gifts and connecting our souls hence achieving together higher collective consciousness.
