The Heart of The Soul.

From a very young age, I have been searching for truth and answers. I remember when I was about 7 years old laying in bed wondering about whether the world was round or flat, and either way – if I went to the edge, would I fall off the earth? I wondered what was out there? I have always been very curious, thinking and talking a lot, and asking millions of questions in my head. I wanted to know the answers to the big questions – Why are we here? Do we have a soul? What are the stars made of?

 

In adolescence, I began reading about astrology and my mother told me, that once when I was three, she was standing outside late one evening, with me on her arm, and I pointed at the brightest star in the sky and said; ‘what is that?’ My mother answered, that is was a star and that I could have it if I wanted to? She gave me a star even though it was not hers to give. I did not know what that meant, at the time, but now, 42 years later, sitting here as an astrologer, writing this for whomever it may concern, I can’t help thinking –  maybe my mother knew what was in my soul? Maybe she knew, in her soul, what my life purpose would be?

 

In your birth chart, you have an area which talks about the soul – who you really are. It is the place where you will see how, and from where you entered this world as well as how you will exit it. The following area of your chart is the 5th house, and this is the one that shows you your heart – how you give and share from the heart, and what you love to do. It is the heart that makes your soul come alive in the body. Your soul becomes physical (and visible) by using your heart and doing what you love.

 

I have a Sagittarian soul, ruled by Jupiter, and a Capricorn heart, ruled by Saturn, and I have been studying astrology for most of my life.

 

The optimistic traveler.

My soul is made up of an instinctive, intuitive, psychic, passionate, optimistic, fiery, truth-seeking, honest, enthusiastic, adventures kind of material. My soul loves to travel, and not necessarily to foreign countries, I actually prefer to explore my inner world. My soul loves to learn and share wisdom and knowledge, it likes to read and write, study, teach and roam within the philosophical, psychological and spiritual realm. I came into this world through the portal of ‘show me the big picture’, and I will exit the same one. Maybe when I cross over, I will finally get all of my questions answered and know the truth, about EVERYTHING?! 😉

 

The pessimistic Baby Boss.

When it comes to matters of the heart, I’m a very serious and shy person. Love means the world to me. I dedicate myself pretty fast when I fall in love, and I don’t like to just play around and see where it goes – if it’s right, then why not commit at the beginning?! I don’t like dating, it makes me uneasy and I feel like I have to perform. I would rather die.

My inner child is a grown up, so with that in mind, the fun just feels like hard work to me – I literally have to work hard on being playful, having an easy time, loosen up and lighten up, laugh more and stop taking myself so seriously.

To create something of value, from the heart, I have to be self-disciplined, responsible, dedicated, structured and work hard with a knowing that things take time.

 

What I personally have to do, to live with soul intention from the heart, is to dedicate myself to creating something which reflects my core being. I will have to let the Capricorn part of me dedicate itself and work on sharing the wisdom that radiates from my soul. I need to be responsible for telling MY truth (Sagittarius), talking about MY beliefs(Sagittarius) and honestly sharing MY inner world without fear (Capricorn) and I assure you, fear is ever present!.

 

What colors are you made of?

So maybe you know by now, that what lies in the soul isn’t the easiest thing to express through the heart? No matter what sign reflects your soul. No matter what sign reflects your heart. They will probably be out of sync somehow. One might block the other, lock down or go into hiding. The biggest problem with the connection between heart and soul is that you might not know how to create what lies in your soul because of childhood trauma. If you had a difficult childhood you probably don’t trust, and therefore don’t listen, to either your heart or your soul. You learned not to trust yourself.

 

Take for instance me, I had one optimistic parent and one pessimistic. The optimist connected with my soul and always told me to ‘just laugh about it’, the pessimist taught me to always be careful, and it made me very fearful of the world so that I wasn’t able to live out my adventures Sagittarian soul.

 

I loved (5th house) my father (Capricorn) but sadly he was also the one who lived his life in fear, so it rubbed off on me. I have never been able to ‘just laugh about it’, even though I knew it would be the best thing for me to do. This is what I have to be mature about – I need to grow up and become a child again if that makes sense?!

 

Often times, as in my case, these things happened because you didn’t get what you needed (emotionally) on a soul level (like the understanding of a fearful inner child) to feel safe enough to let your heart stay open, and instead, as a result, you experience the more negative side of the signs, coloring your 4th and 5th house. The soul.

The 4th house is a reflection of your soul, and by that, your ancestry. It is where you come from, seen in a long line of forefathers as well as soul history. It is where you go back to when your soul has lived out it’s ‘script’ for this lifetime. It is what your DNA is made of, and it is your foundation. If your foundation is unstable, if you’re not sure of how to connect with your soul, then your heart won’t be able to express the things your soul is here to share.

 

The heart.

The 5th house is a reflection of your heart, and by that, the way you give love. It is the creative house, it is the ‘heart of the matter’, it is your childlike behavior, it is a place of creation and self-expression – it is where you share of yourself, from the heart, in a way that reflects your soul

 

The real you.

There is something inside of you that is so strong and wanting to come out, to be seen by those around you. Others might not see what that is, but you do! You feel it, and sometimes you might even say to yourself: ‘Now I truly feel like me!’ Even if you don’t allow yourself to acknowledge it, it’s still there whispering to your heart.

Sometimes this ‘me’ feeling comes along when you are with a special person. This mostly happens because that person connects very deeply with your soul, by placing a personal planet from their horoscope in your 4th house. Especially if it is their sun, it will brighten up this area and you will have nowhere to hide from the light. It is truly a blessing. These people can help you a lot to get closer to your soul’s purpose, and by that, the real you.

 

I know, that a lot of you out there is desperately trying to find your soul’s calling by listening to your heart – it can be very hard to know what we are supposed to be doing with our life but I also know that if you go to the 4th house of your natal chart, and from there to the 5th, you are destined to figure it out!
