The Intersection of Passion and Peace
Do what you love. Sweet mornings, the new quiet beginnings to begin a days work. Each a forward movement toward something greater and worthy of our effort — a Higher purpose.
Isn’t it so easy to get stopped by our ego? That thinking machine inside our head creating madness.
Ive had some glimpses recently, of the confident and accomplished me, he’s at ease because he sees his own beauty. He’s set eyes upon the Light that God shines through him.
Perhaps the single most important tool in our transformation is the combined understanding that our own will, at our best, is joined with the will of God. But, we also need people that believe in us — those that know we’re going to “make it” “be OK” “create something with impact and brilliance.” Why? Because without it, that’s a lot of weight for one person to bear.
I get the “true peace” feeling —like I did last night while watching a movie. Something about the moment brought clarity. I felt the beauty in me.
It comes from a different place, it’s internal, it’s joyful. It feels like we’re connected by a lifeline directly to God. It feels safe, it’s secure, it’s humbly gorgeous.
So, do what you love. What you love brings you home.
I love Spanish guitar music on the beach, and preparing a dinner with lot’s of vegetables. I love driving through the country and flying, and I adore cobblestone streets. I love foreign country’s and unexplored city’s because it brings such wisdom, and fireplaces and campfires — all this!
What I love brings me passion and peace.
In this place we discover connection. All of this — includes the space to write, it affords a blank canvas bringing us to the final question. Who shall my love serve?
