Ahhh. The seduction of control!
Too often, we think we can force the future to be how we want it to be. If we just think hard enough, do this, or do that, we’ll get exactly what we want or avoid something we don’t want. What folly!
When I direct all that energy toward meditation, prayer, & connecting with healthy others, eventually my need to control disappears. I’ve “let go.”
Has anyone else noticed that, when we finally DO let go & let God (Universe / true self / positive power) take over our future, it’s often got claw marks all over it?? And then it blooms into something even better than we dared to hope!
