Often when we evolve and awake to our truth later in life, it’s natural to have thoughts and wishes of an earlier awakening.
Sometimes there are even thoughts of having “wasted” a period of our life because we were depressed and not living our lives to the full extent of our capacity.
While that’s a completely natural reaction, I choose not to subscribe to those thoughts. Every experience—especially the hard ones led me to the place I am now.
To counteract these thoughts, I’m choosing to live the rest of my days as if I’m in my thirties.
Age is relative anyway, right?
Plus, at my age, I have the added benefit of living such a fun life with the additional knowledge and wisdom I’ve gained from accumulating the additional years.
That’s a double win in my book! Perspective is everything.
There’s life after depression and it’s brilliant.
