In the story I know, she loves him like nobody else. He loved her too or so he said. She never questioned whether it was true or not. Because it didn’t matter, she’d still love him against all odds. Thats why she let him go when he wants to go. She didn’t ask him to stay because she didn’t need anything from him. She didn’t love him to fulfill her needs, not to fill in the emptiness or loneliness. For her, to love is an art, to make someone feels free. It was hard and painful but she knew it’d be more painful to stop him find his dream and happiness the way she find hers in him. It was enough for her to see him genuinely happy. If this is not love, I don’t know what is.

She is a tree, strong and brave, she grows through the hard ground. The sadness is like roots that go deeper into the womb of the earth as she grows higher into the sky. The bigger she grows, the deeper the roots go. That’s the balance she found.
