In 2020-2021, her screenplay “A Son’s Gift” received 15 awards and selections, including “Best Feature Screenplay,” “Best Song,” and “Best Screenwriter.”But Michele isn’t just a writer —she’s a storyteller. “A Son’s Gift” is based on her story of grief, healing, and the human experience. MiMi offers a wide lens of humanity with five times longer life experiences than most, bringing stories to life through intuition, creativity, and connection. Michele started her career as a creative hair and makeup artist in Bryant Park during Fashion Week in 1988. MiMi’s passion for beauty represents her deep love for the beauty of humanity.
