From the Heart of a Rebel: The Aura of Lisa Marie Presley

On a seemingly ordinary day, as I scrolled through my Instagram, a message appeared that would forever alter the trajectory of a mission dear to my heart. “How can I help?” Four simple words, yet they held the power of a thousand, coming from Lisa Marie Presley. It was as though the universe was orchestrating a symphony of synchronicities, weaving our shared grief journey with our intertwined spiritual and empathic connections. It was more than a mere offer of support; it was a profound nudge from her deepest soul, signaling that our paths were destined to intersect.
With rock royalty lineage, Lisa Marie Presley isn’t just a name that stirs nostalgic melodies; she is now emblematic of the silent pain many endure. Having opened her heart in a raw and touching PEOPLE article last year about the tragic loss of her son, Benjamin Keough, she resonated with many about the searing loneliness that grief often ushers—a topic society would instead leave in the shadows. Today, I echo her sentiments, fortified by the bridge she built with a simple digital gesture, Loss Awareness Day.
The weight of her message was about more than just the combined influence of our profiles or the spiritual themes evident in our list of followers. It was about the palpable force of shared understanding and the intent to drive change.
The Essence of Loss Awareness Day
I’m Michele, The Grief Warrior®. My tapestry of loss is intricate, colored by the devastating passing of my son, Nicky, and further darkened by the suicide of my brother and parents and so much more. Yet amidst these shadows, a spark rebels under my skin, Healing it Forward.
Loss Awareness Day isn’t merely a footnote on a calendar; it’s a revolution, a culmination of years of striving and now, charged by the unwavering support of Lisa Marie Presley. Her connection wasn’t just an endorsement but a union bound by a melding of soul for a shared cause.
On September 29th, this collective spirit seeks to transform our shared pain into a global purpose.
Why September 29th?
There is cosmic significance in this date choice, far beyond its autumnal setting. It is a date that has echoed through my life and resonates deeply in the numerical symphony of existence.
Angel Number 929 encapsulates new beginnings, metamorphosis, and limitless love. And in the language of numerology, September 29 unfolds as 9/29. The number 9 resonates deeply with me; it symbolizes humanity, compassion, and an ending that promises a new dawn. Additionally, the combination of 9/29 encapsulates infinity, a reminder of the eternal cycle of love and memory.
The interconnectedness continues. Lisa Marie, her father Elvis, and Austin all share Lifepath #9, symbolizing “The Humanitarian.” Our lives further intersect with shared experiences. Lisa Marie and I have faced the pain of suicide within our families. My brother’s departure is particularly significant in September, a month dedicated to raising suicide awareness.
In my journey, my father and I share Lifepath #11 with Lisa Marie and Elvis, known as “The Master Intuitive Alchemist.” My son Nicky’s departure was on December 29th, 2005, further solidifying the significance of the 29th. Three 29’s = 11 x 3 = 33. Nicky represents Lifepath 33.
I’m a firm believer in the universe’s signs and synchronicities. The intertwined lifepaths, the shared traumas, and the essence of the chosen date for Loss Awareness Day feel cosmically ordained.
Her gesture on Instagram went beyond a digital interaction. It was an affirmation of solidarity, a testament to her profound understanding and commitment to the cause. Lisa Marie’s luminosity, depth of maternal love, and resilient spirit became the North Star guiding Loss Awareness Day.
A Call to Unity
Loss is omnipresent. 2.5 million people die in the U.S. yearly, leaving countless grieving souls in their wake. Millions more grapple with the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, we suffer in isolation, our pain often unacknowledged and dismissed.
But no more. Let Loss Awareness Day be our rallying cry. It’s not about “moving on” but making space for loss, understanding, and support.
I urge you to sign this petition to make September 29th “Loss Awareness Day.” A Day to Remember, reflect, and rally together. It’s high time we bring grief out of the shadows and into the light, creating a community bound by empathy and understanding.
In hope and gratitude, The Grief Warrior ®–Author of the 7 Stages of Grief & Award-Winning writer, A Son’s Gift.
