Video of the Week: Summer Rayne Oakes

Most recently seen on MTV’s Real World, touring the cast through their new green home, Summer Rayne Oakes is no stranger to bridging the gap between environmental nerds and trendy frat boys. As an “eco-model” of sorts, she combines her passion for conservation with the worlds of fashion and marketing. Over the last year, she’s graced the pages of GQ, Vanity Fair, Outside, Shape and elephant. Last October, our editor Waylon Lewis convinced her to drop by Pangea’s Beyond the Pink Ribbon Event. Since she’d already been interviewed in depth by Catherine Fordham for our Spring 2007 issue, Waylon and Summer had a rare chance to sit back and goof around, while still discussing the occasional world-changing issue.
