Just got back from listening to Robert Thurman’s talk at the Tattered Cover in Denver. All I can say is…”Wow.” Prof. Thurman is one of the most dynamic and enjoyable speakers I’ve heard in a while. He’s warm, funny, entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable. He spoke for about an hour, and not once did I check my watch. He spoke on a variety of topics, but the focus of the night was Tibet and his new book, of course. If I didn’t already have my tickets to tomorrow’s elevision, tonight’s talk would have convinced me to buy one. If you don’t have your ticket yet, get one. You’ll regret missing it, personally speaking.
