These are the three fine candidates we interviewed at The Boulder Theater twice this year—three committed candidates. I’ve personally endorsed Jared Polis for his longstanding commitment to my community, but I’ve fallen hard for Shafroth, as well, who manages to be nice without being weak. He and Polis generally seem to be on the same page, though Polis has run a tough campaign, going head-to-head with the favorite (at least at the outset, Joan Fitz-Gerald, who worked for years with distinction in Colorado Senate). Bottomline for most of you: any one of the three gets in, we’re good. For most folks it’ll be a decision between Shafroth/Polis on the one hand (more liberal, more environmental), or Joan on the other.
