elephant journal’s latest cover: Vintage Civil War Campaign Poster becomes Modern-day Call to Fight Climate Change. By Jay Tomlinson, of Tomolini.

Via on Oct 8, 2008

When it came time to depict the leadership we need to fight climate change, we turned once again to Jay Tomlinson of TOMOLINI Commercial Art Service (his first ele cover was Solar Superman Saves the World, Autumn 07). “Embracing virtually all forms of Commercial Art, from Magazine, Newspaper, Poster and Website Advertising, to Trademarks, Packaging, Illustration and Murals. Since 1995.”

Jay says: “A few years ago, I stumbled across the following quote: ‘It’s not getting any smarter out there.’ – Frank Zappa. I collected it, and considered it to be very insightful. With this coming election, it might be time to put this quote away…it might be getting smarter out there!”
