Handmade bowls: great gifts that support charity. [Holiday Gift Idea; EFAA; Souper Bowlder; Boulder Arts & Crafts Cooperative]

Via on Oct 24, 2008

Local artists and volunteers created 100s of handmade bowls for the Boulder Arts and Crafts Cooperative’s Souper Bowlder. Celebrating its 12th year, you can purchase a lovely handcrafted bowl for $15 and all of the proceeds go to the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA).

The bowls make a fabulous gift, they are locally made and the EFAA could really use the dough. I bought them for my entire family a few years ago and included a jar of salsa with each one. The Arts and Crafts Coop is also selling soup and muffin mixes from the Women’s Bean Project of Denver as well as a Souper Bowlder Cookbook. The sale starts today, October 24th, and runs through November 12th.

Get there soon for the best selection of bowls!

Thanks for the info on this event… I’ve heard about it, but would have missed it if it weren’t for your timely post, so thanks!

Plus, it’s a great way to support EFAA which does so much in such a direct way to help local families without the red-tape of most social service organizations. Go EFAA!

  2. Hello, Neat post. There is an issue along with your web site in internet explorer, would check this? IE still is the market leader and a good component of other folks will pass over your excellent writing because of this problem.
