I have always been nervous about trying Henna dye for my hair in fear of brown fingernails, frustrating recipe proportions and splotchy beginner”s luck color coverage. Lush handmade cosmetics has come out with a pre-made Henna “block”, that is fantastic. Be aware that it is VERY messy, so you need proper protection for skin, and counter space (ie. latex gloves, old newspaper etc.).
You basically melt it down like chocolate, apply as directed, and clean the house for a couple of hours, then marvel at your new look! I am on the low-moderate beauty maintenance scale of things, so this was right within my range of effort.
