Obama and his Blackberry…reunited in the White House

President Barack Obama fought the hard battle, weathered the storm, and eventually prevailed.

We’re not talking about the election here… but rather the way in which President Barack Obama communicates with close family, friends, and colleagues. His weapon of choice: the Blackberry 8830.

Almost comically, it was heavily debated in the media as to whether Obama was going to be able to continue his digital love affair with the device. For the time being, according to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the flame will continue to burn.

Only a select group of senior staffers and close family will have Obama’s cell number, and just to keep things legitimate, all communications through the device will be subject to the Presidential Records Act.

When Obama isn’t emailing, he’s probably looking for mindful policy recommendations on elephant.
