Hey Colorado Kids!

You know who you are*

…let’s get back to the basics!

A Revolution needs a flag.

Colors, by Aunt Winnie, around 1960.

Carole King, Tapestry, 1971.

This green fabric was our shower curtain when we lived at Chautauqua…
We used it to make a big green one of these:

(Sarahdawn created the Recycleswish for an event at CU a couple of years ago,
but her boss didn’t like it, so it was never used.)

And some buttons from the traveling neighborhood,

thrown in for good measure…

This flag is finished, but there are no pictures of it, and it’s too bad,

because I’ve lost it!

in Boulder!
I believe, Les Elephants have it!

Can you help me?

It’s Time to Save the World! (again*)
Incorrect source, offensive, or found a typo? Or do you want to write for Elephant?

Hey Joanna, I read an article the other day about the difference between *downcycling* and *upcycling* and you are certainly doing the latter, which is the way to go. Downcylcing = plastic milk container becomes plastic for road bump becomes ?? back into trash. Upcycling = plastic water bottles become used to build a boat!!
Yes, that's it*
trash into pearls!
Aunt Winnie would be proud. By the way, she was a good friend of Bobbie Blair's mom. Chuck
I hope to let Winnie's colors wave proudly as the Revolution flag, but where is it?
Where is the flag?
tapestry!!! yeah!
and buttons, always for you
Update: the flag has been found!
It is in Boulder with the revolutionaries!
