Opportunity Green: “Top 10 Eco Twitterers to Follow.”

top twitterers

And now our new friends over at Opportunity Green have honored our fast-flying fingertips for the quality/quantity of our 140-character tweets…by naming us a Top 10 Eco Twitterer to Follow. May not sound like the biggest deal in the world, but the fact is there’s 100 if not 1,000 earnest, skilled green and eco-minded tweeters, so it comes as quite an honor to be chosen among such a tidy, cozy little troupe.
Excerpt via Opportunity Green’s Top 10:

9. @GavinNewsom

San Francisco’s own Mayor Newsom tweets about everything from signing legislation tripling San Francisco’s municipal solar generation-installing the nations largest municipal PV system to appearing on the Rachel Maddow show.

10. @elephantjournal

Elephant Journal is the guide to ‘the mindful life’: yoga, organics, sustainability, genuine spirituality, conscious consumerism, fair fashion, the contemplative arts. Editor-in-Chief, Waylon Lewis, is the host of the “Walk the Talk Show” focused on everything from tech to fashion.

Who is Opportunity Green, you ask? It’s an amazing conference, among other things…my friend and colleague Josh Onysko of Pangea Organics attended last year and told me it was well worth it. He’s a featured speaker this year. Check it out—hopefully elephantjournal.com will be there and we can clink glasses at some eco fabulous cocktail party!
