[This post is cross-posted at my personal blog.]

Inspired by TMcG over at Full Contact Enlightenment, I think I’ll repost my list of favorite titles from Wisdom Publications (so far). Recently, the good people over at Go Beyond Words: Wisdom Publications’ Buddhist Blog celebrated their 100th post by asking readers to share their favorite books from the venerable Buddhist press. Here are the ones I shared:

  • The Good Heart: A Buddhist Perspective on the Teachings of Jesus by His Holiness the Dalai Lama
  • Engaged Buddhism in the West, ed. Christopher Queen

  • Medicine and Compassion: A Tibetan Lama’s Guidance for Caregivers by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche and David R. Shlim
  • Everything Yearned For: Manhae’s Poetry of Love and Longing, tran. Francisca Cho
  • Blue Jean Buddha: Voices of Young Buddhists, ed. Sumi Loundon
