Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche—widely credited with pioneering the transmission of Buddhism in terms immediate and accessible to the modern West—teaches on “building enlightened society.”

Finally, a few more videos of this great teacher are available on Youtube.

For many more videos, go to Shambhala.org.

“In an open forum, The Venerable Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, (1939-1987) discusses a society guided by the principles of wisdom and compassion. He was a pioneer in bringing the Tibetan Buddhist teachings to North America, Europe and in 1976 introduced Shambhala.”

Hello, I found you through a twitter follow.. I had no idea there were any videos available of him, this is wonderful I live in Scotland and am very close friends with a woman who knew him well back in his Samye Ling days, she is my Reiki master/teacher and close friend. I believe he is supposed to have re-incarnated in America? I am not a Buddhist,
but I love the teachings as a great well and source of wisdom. Thank you for this. I am following you as FreyaFey.

A truly generous person! The task of distributing his teachings is ongoing. Many hours of recorded material remain archived , yet to be transcribed to book or video formats. http://www.shambhala.org is a good place to begin, or we can chat if you like. Good Luck!! ;)
