A perfect Sunday in Boulder, Colorado: Hill Flea, Burnt Toast.

You may not want fleas or burnt toast…unless you’re in Boulder.

For the best in community, the fun of a big farmers’ market and the deals of Goodwill, check out the Hill Flea. There’s also art, lovely people, crazy fun music, and deals better than anything this side of craigslist. You can’t get greener than reused, and you can’t get hipper than a little spot o’Brooklyn in the middle of our typically flea-less Boulder, Colorado. Great deals for students, too.

Photos below are from the first Hill Flea, I’ll be going again this morning—and enjoying one of the best pastries in Boulder, by a mile, at Burnt Toast while I’m at it. Burnt Toast is one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots, and they’re open for romantic dinners, too. They’re green, too, using local and organic in some dishes, and (something other restaurants should imitate) they offer cool fun napkins that once were tee shirts or curtains. A fun place, and worth supporting with your hard-earned green.
