Health care reform was going along smoothly and quietyly until, a month or so ago, a bunch of conservative democrats (Blue Dogs), including our own friend Jared Polis, started barking—and inspired the Republicans and their tea parties to do so. Now, it’s getting ugly. Thanks, Blue Dogs! Let’s Hope Obama and his supporters (including yours truly) can help get equitable, affordable reform through for the first time in 70 years of trying (or more).
