Does our society need a first-tier, far-reaching, fun, "mindful" + independent media source?

One buck a month is all it takes.

Boulder City Council debate Monday: elephantjournal.com & New Era Colorado host at Fox Theatre, Columbus Day.

Boulder City Council debate

elephantjournal.com & New Era Colorado present the biggest Boulder debate—by far. Candidates will be judged live via audience participation, so candidates make sure your supporters RSVP & attend in force!

Important: Reserve your (free) ticket here for the Columbus Day Debate!

elephantjournal.com and New Era Colorado are joining forces again for a night of a lot of political debate, a little tomfoolery, and plenty of live music courtesy Walk the Talk Show’s “house band,” everyone’s new favorite band, The Dovekins.

Here’s the best part: The audience gets to decide who stays on stage and who gets the boot—you’ll be voting “American Idol style’ from the audience via text message! Whether you thought a candidate had a good answer or if you think they were doing some political-doublespeak, you get to decide how we narrow 12 candidates down to 5 winners.

We just confirmed the Dovekins to play at the event! If you don’t know them, they’re a great band with a unique sound that everyone can get down to. Check them out.

RSVP on Facebook here.

Monday, October 12, 2009 (doors 630) 7pm at The Fox Theatre.
