Obama pardons “Courage” Turkey at the White House. Original Photos by me!

This morning, President Barack Obama pardoned “Courage”, the 45-pound National Thanksgiving Turkey, on the steps of the White House. Flanked by daughters Malia and Sasha, Obama made a quick speech about the history of the tradition, William Pelletier of the National Turkey Federation hoisted Courage onto the green tablecloth, and Obama pardoned the giant white turkey. Following this trip to the White House, Courage will live out the rest his days in Disneyland. Not bad for a turkey!
