Budweiser: no longer All-American…

drink american budweiser who owns foreign

…is now made with genetically-modified rice.

Oh, and it’s shipped long distances, isn’t particularly fresh, and tastes like a shadow of real beer.

What a deal!

Via Greenpeace, and with thanks for the tip to our friends at Wend:

“…Independent research shows that Budweiser beer contains genetically engineered rice varieties that are outlawed in most parts of the world….”

Learn more: http://www.greenpeace.org/internation…The corporate braumeisters of Anheuser-Busch have let genetically engineered rice contaminate their Budweiser beer, independent laboratory testing has revealed. Tests show rice used in Anheuser-Busch’s east coast US breweries is contaminated with genetically engineered rice varieties outlawed in most of the world.

Bonus, another brilliant rip-off, this one from 2008 US Presidential campaign:

  1. Not like we needed another reason to NOT drink Bud, but there it is. When it comes to beer, buy local/micro or brew your own. Period.

Knowledge is "king." My diet used to be very clean. I scrupulously avoided contaminated foods, which normally begins with the concentrators like animal, etc. In the last year I began drinking Busch products because that's what the venue pushed with incentives at my poker league. After half a year of that I began having trouble drinking one Bud Light without feeling stupid and disoriented. All beer was then starting to affect me. I lost my tolerance to it. On a hunch I switched to high quality green beers and within 2 weeks all of those symptoms disappeared. I can again drink a six pack of stout beer without losing it.

Folks, GMO rewires your inner workings. The reason it affected me in an obvious way is because I was reactive and much cleaner on the inside than most, whereas those who've been eating substandard contaminated foods and those laced with GMO for years are nonreactive, at least in the short term. Don't drink Busch! Spread the word. Support the non GMO movement. Learn more at http://www.nongmoproject.org/.
