I loooove Celestial Seasonings, been drinking it since I was a wee Boulder-born n’bred lad. But what does 100% Natural mean?
Oh, right: nothing at all, at least technically—”natural” is, of course, an undefined, unregulated term made up by the, er, natural products industry to make yuppies and hippies feel better (and spend more).
So why is that your slogan, oh Celestial? Why don’t you go 100% organic, which is a term with meaning?
On a lighter note, ca-lassic!
Finally, an excerpt of our old interview with co-founder John D. Hay:
John co-founded Celestial Seasonings, directed Rudi’s Organic Bakery and founded WhiteDove Herbals. With a history like that, he’s got a thing or two to tell this generation’s green entrepreneurs.
