Just finished watching Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, the hit reality TV show that’s actually about reality, and changing our reality (this is the first generation of American children set to live shorter lives that their parents). It’s a big deal that this show got made—it’s an even bigger deal that it’s been a ratings blockbuster. It’s an elephant’s dream come true: fulfilling, or rather just beginning to fulfill and push forward the work of Michael Pollan, Alice Waters, Ann Cooper—in returning our nation to eating real, simple, good, and yummy food.
