Due to drivers of Tesla (the 100,000 electric sports car) repeatedly driving off with the power cord still attached, Tesla today announced a partnership with Apple.
“Why reinvent the wheel?,” pointed out Tesla exec Elon Musk. “Steve and company had the same problem on a cheaper scale—laptop users tripping over power cords and smashing $2000 computers. So they invented that cool magnetic power cord, that just detaches if there’s too much sudden pressure. We figured, why not make a big one for our cars?”
