I didn’t hear a word she was saying, so can’t leave a helpful intro…I just melted into her accent like butter on a hot, hot pan. Whoot:

  1. Very informative. Thanks.

  2. Pat says:

HTML 5 does a lot of what Flash does on the web, but with much smaller file sizes. Eventually it should replace most of Flash for the web as developers/designers begin to utilize its powerful and robust features. Will be a moot point in a few years.

  3. C.Smith says:

    Two points to consider:
    1) HTML 5 is great, but it is all about the design environment. Designers are not always expert programmers (after all, they should be more like artists and less like engineers). Most people who use Flash are not going to drop it for JQuery without a good design environment…
    2) I have heard that Adobe is likely to release CS5 with a version of Flash that exports its animations as HTML 5 taking care of the issue as well as point 1 (maybe?).

  4. Thanks for the iPad tip, but I am not sure on how to put them in good use.

  5. Whats the best way to get apps for the iPad?

  6. If you’re still on the fence: seize your favored earphones, head down to a Greatest Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which a single seems superior to you, and which interface can make you smile much more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
